Family Footsteps

SUNDAY 20 APRIL 2008 FROM 10.30AM UNTIL 3.00PM

  • WHAT IS IT?

Family Footsteps is a walk for all the family in some of the most beautiful countryside the South of England has to offer.

The walks are designed to be manageable for participants of all ages. If you'd like to make the walk more of a challenge we dare you to come up with a trickier way of covering the course (such as putting rocks in your rucksack, three legged walking...)!

The idea is to raise as much money as possible for Children's Hospice South West and Naomi House Hospice and you can do this by registering and asking your friends and family to sponsor you.

Photography competition

The winners of the photography competition are:

Carmen Stamper (aged 30+)
Molly Bartlett (aged 4)

Congratulations! Your prizes will be sent to you shortly.

    • Make sure you have plenty to eat and drink and are adequately dressed for the length of time you'll be out.
    • Take a sensible approach to the weather, which in Britain is rarely severe but changeable and often wet.
  • FOLLOW THE COUNTRYSIDE CODE

    • Be safe - plan ahead and follow any signs
    • Leave gates and property as you find them
    • Protect plants and animals and take your litter home
    • Keep dogs under close control
    • Consider other people
