LNG

Bond Pearce has wide experience in various elements of the LNG chain, from the liquefaction terminal through shipping and regasification, as well as sales and purchases and the regional aspects of this.

We are also one of the few firms with FLNG experience and Anna Soroko won the Lawyer 2007 Infrastructure Team of the Year Award for her work on the innovative Teesside GasPort Project which then was the first in -port, on-board LNG regasification project in the world.

As we also have shipping expertise we are in a position to advise on more than just the gas side of a transaction which is essential for LNG. Our lawyers have presented at international conferences on LNG and FLNG and are familiar with the rapidly changing concerns often highlighted in long term LNG contracts and where there is price volatility. We also understand and can assist in the financing aspects of the LNG chain.

Our lawyers have also made representations on behalf of clients in the UK's LNG consultation process for the Energy Act and are familiar with the changes that new technology and flexible sales arrangements have brought to this increasingly important commodity which is a vital part of the energy mix of so many economies.
