Statement of Diversity
- We seek to build a workforce that reflects the communities in which we live and work so that we are best able to meet the needs of our clients
- We strive to ensure that we recruit on ability and potential to do the job alone
- We will deal swiftly and decisively with any incidents of discrimination or other inappropriate behaviour
- We promote professional and personal growth to ensure that the talents of all our employees are fully utilised
- We recruit, develop and promote people on merit and seek to reward outstanding performance regardless of background
- We aim to provide our employees with a supportive working environment that encourages dignity, mutual trust and respect and is free from discrimination and harassment
- We aspire to be an employer of choice that has a reputation for fairness, integrity and innovation in order to recruit and retain the most talented people whatever their background and to attract and retain clients
- We support people in balancing their work and personal lives, allowing them to be themselves at work and giving their best to the organisation
Obtaining and maintaining records on the diversity of our staff is part of our commitment to diversity. In addition we will regularly monitor the number of job applications from different gender, disability and ethnic groups. We will carry out monitoring on the number of employees from different gender, disability and ethnic groups by grade when:-
- In post
- Applying for post
- Taking up training and development opportunities
- Promotion
- Transfer
- Discipline and dismissal
- Leaving our employment
If monitoring reveals an under representation of any group we will take steps to address any imbalances.
We intend to regularly report and consult on equality issues within the workforce and we will mention in our advertisements and publicity literature that equal opportunity practices are in place at Bond Pearce.
There are a number of challenges ahead of us but we will continue to encourage and assist those who wish to work for us on a part time basis or more flexibly. We have not yet achieved the level of diversity we seek; we recognise this will take time and will continue to take all necessary steps to achieve this through our diversity policies and procedures.

There are a number of challenges ahead for us such as increasing female representation at partner level; increasing ethnic minority representation at all levels.
We will continue to encourage and assist those employees who wish to work on a part-time basis or more flexibly.
Whilst we have not yet achieved the level of diversity we seek, we recognise this will take time and will continue to take all necessary steps to achieve this through our diversity policy and procedure.
