Your commitment to us

Because of the way in which we work with clients and the closeness of our relationships, we expect our trainees to demonstrate qualities that go beyond the essential legal qualifications. As a result, there is no typical Bond Pearce trainee. Many have followed a traditional path through university, while others may be mature students or people who've taken a change of direction in their career. All our people do, however, have a number of points in common:

  • A natural ability in dealing with people
  • Commercial acumen and a desire to forge close relationships with clients.
  • Energy and the drive to grow our business and their own careers.
  • Flexibility
  • Strong analytical skills and breadth of thinking
  • A pragmatic down to earth approach
  • A thirst for change and continuous improvement.
  • An aptitude for IT, to take advantage of the massive investment we've made in efficient and smarter working practices
