Christine is a partner and head of the firm's construction and engineering group. She has specialised in construction and procurement law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1989.

Christine's non-contentious practice focuses on energy and engineering projects and advising utilities and public sector clients on compliance with the European Directives on public procurement. Christine is also an experienced litigator in the Technology and Construction Court and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Recent projects that Christine has worked on include:

  • South West Regional Development Agency - advice on the construction of the offshore Wave Hub project
  • New Look Retailers Ltd - advice on the contracts relating to the construction and fit out of their state of the art automated distribution centres in Staffordshire

Christine is acknowledged as a leader in her field of construction by Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession 2011 which says she continues to impress with her "thorough, capable and commercial" approach and that client's praise her "extensive and in-depth industry knowledge".
