Gary acts for both London market and composite insurers who underwrite D&O as well as professional indemnity risks for a wide variety of professionals. He also specialises in professional regulation, often appearing before regulatory bodies and their tribunals on behalf of insurers and their insureds.

Gary has particular expertise in policy disputes, particularly those involving fraud, late notification, non disclosure and aggregation. He has acted for both primary and excess layer insurers in this regard.

Gary was involved in the TAG Litigation involving a dispute between an 'after the event insurer' and more than 600 firms of solicitors. He acted on behalf of more than 100 firms of solicitors during the course of the dispute.  He is presently dealing with multi million pound claims involving financial institutions and an array of professionals.

Through his involvement in litigation arising from the pensions review, Gary also has a particular expertise in dealing with claims brought before the Financial Ombudsman Service as well as issues arising out of breaches of FSA rules.

Gary is a Solicitor Advocate and trained mediator.
