Jane has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1997, including a secondment to Elf Exploration UK Plc to work on the pipeline and cable crossing agreements for the SEAL pipeline, the grant of land rights in Norfolk for the SILK pipeline, and bidding agreements in the White Zone.
She advises on all aspects of upstream oil and gas, including joint ventures, operations and acquisitions and disposals in the UK and overseas, including projects in Angola, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Ghana, Hungary, Israel, Kenya, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Tunisia as well as the UK and Irish Republic.
Her experience includes licensing regimes, licence applications, joint ventures with state-owned and private companies, production sharing contracts, share and asset acquisitions and disposals, farm-ins/outs and service contracts.
Jane advised on the share sale of Palace Exploration Company (United Kingdom) Limited to Revus Energy for $258 million, as well as Marathon's US1.3bn sale of assets in Angola and the sale by RegEnersys of its interest in one of the North Sea's largest undeveloped gas fields.
Jane is qualified in both English and Scots law and is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and the International Bar Association.
