Katherine is an associate specialising in intellectual property.

Katherine’s experience includes advice covering all IP rights in connection with commercial issues and disputes.  Katherine has particular experience in trade mark infringement, passing off and domain name issues.  Katherine has acted for a number of large brand owners on disputes and portfolio management.

Examples of experience include:

• acting for a famous London Department Store in a claim for trade mark infringement and passing off in the High Court
• acting for a boutique hotel chain in a complex Community Trade Mark appeal and cross appeal
• providing advice on all aspects of domain name infringement, including extensive experience of ICANN and Nominet proceedings
• providing commercial advice on intellectual property issues
• managing international IP portfolios
• product clearance work for a leading manufacturer of outdoor equipment
• bringing one of the first complaints before the Company Names Tribunal
