Kerry is a senior associate specialising in defendant liability claims.  She has substantial experience dealing with employers', public and motor liability claims, acting on behalf of insurers, self-insureds, loss adjustors and Lloyds Syndicates.

Kerry handles a wide range of claims including high value catastrophic injury and brain damage claims, occupational disease and fatal claims. She also has expertise in dealing with fraudulent/exaggerated claims, and also frequently advises insurers on policy indemnity issues.

Specific examples of experience include:

• head injury claims - advising on claims involving severe cognitive dysfunction, incapacity issues, speech and memory impairment as well as a variety of psychiatric and psychological conditions
• amputee cases - advising on a large number of claims involving amputations
• industrial disease - handling claims relating to work related upper limb disorders, deafness, occupational asthma and occupational stress
• psychiatric injury - defending a large number of claims involving psychiatric and psychological injury, to include those claims involving exaggeration/malingering
• fraudulent claims - advising insurers on fraudulent and exaggerated claims involving policy holders and third parties
• back injury claims - advising insurers on a large number of such claims, often involving complex arguments as to causation, exaggeration and mitigation.

Kerry regularly undertakes her own advocacy and frequently attends Court and inquests.

Kerry frequently provides training both internally and to clients. She also undertook pro bono work in association with the Bristol Law Centre for a number of years.

Kerry is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).
