Bond Pearce

Stuart is a partner in the firm's oil & gas team with over 20 years' upstream and midstream experience. Over this period he has worked both for industry majors and independents where he held several senior in-house legal managerial positions.

  

Over the course of his career Stuart has spent extensive periods of time handling corporate and asset transactional work in the Far East, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean as well as a broad spectrum of concession, joint venture operation, development and production agreements in as many regions. More recently, Stuart has worked on gas, LNG and LPG sales agreements and associated transportation arrangements for projects located in Africa and in the Caribbean.

  

During his time in-house Stuart would deal regularly with senior members of NOCs and host government ministries, extending his role and remit beyond the pure legal.

  

Stuart is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (sitting on the European and African Committee) and the International Bar Association.
