William is a partner specialising in real estate investment and development work.

William is the relationship partner for a number of the firm’s investment clients including the Church Commissioners for England, TR Property Investment Trust Plc, Thames River Capital and First Alliance Properties.  William is also the firm’s relationship partner for Associated British Ports and real estate partner for Babcock International Group Plc.

Examples of experience include:

• acting for Rockspring’s UK Value Fund on its acquisition of a portfolio of five office buildings in the South East from St Martins for £48.5m
• advising the Church Commissioners on their acquisition of a £34 million industrial/distribution centre portfolio and on the asset management and subsequent disposal of two centres
• acting for Rockspring’s UK Value Fund on its acquisition of The Precinct, Blaydon Shopping Centre, Blaydon for £10.1m
• acting for Associated British Ports on the grant of an Option to renewable energy developer Helius Energy Plc for a 100MW biomass power station in the Port of Southampton
• acting for Thames River Capital on its property fund’s acquisition of a mixed use portfolio in the South East for £30 million
• acting on the acquisition, lettings and disposal of TR Property Investment Trust’s 62,200 sq ft office building in Slough, Berkshire, for £18.5m
• acting for CIT Group on its acquisition of a multi-let office and retail investment property in E1 for £19m
• acting for Go Ape!, the high wire forest adventure company, on all real estate matters throughout the UK
• acting for East Devon District Council on a land agreement with a supermarket operator in connection with a key regeneration area within the county.
