Shaun has previously worked for an impressive range of other blue chip companies, including Sainsbury's Plc and Diageo Plc and will therefore be bringing extensive commercial experience to the firm. Shaun will be based in our Bristol office.

Shaun comments: "It's a very interesting time to be entering the legal world, particularly from the financial side, as law firms are being squeezed to provide more value for less money, and pricing structures and value-adds are more essential than ever. Commercially speaking, clients are looking for greater transparency and more "bang for their buck" and the challenge will be to provide this while charting a steadily profitable course."

New Director of IT and Facilities, Ben Weinberger is a US qualified lawyer and joins from Lathrop & Gage LLP, a law firm based in Kansas City with 13 offices across the United States, where he was Chief Information Officer. Ben has extensive experience in strategic planning and operational management. He will also be based in our Bristol office.

Ben recently won the Enterprise Content Management Champion Award at the 2011 International Legal Technology Association Awards ceremony for his project to migrate Lathrop & Gage LLP to a consolidated, matter-centric content management system - a project that greatly improved the firm's ability to collaborate across multiple offices by leveraging a single platform.

Ben comments: "It is an exciting time to be joining Bond Pearce. The firm is investing heavily in its already impressive IT systems and I look forward to guiding it through these strategic developments. Bond Pearce's IT strategy is not only crucial to its successful infrastructure but also to adding value to clients and improving lawyer efficiencies where ever possible."
