We have been involved with the renewable energy industry since the development of the first UK commercial wind farm at Delabole, Cornwall in 1989. Since then we have advised on hundreds of electricity generation projects, which have included a range of technologies, including onshore and offshore wind, wave, solar, landfill gas, biomass, tidal and energy from waste.
Our energy team includes more than 50 specialist lawyers and aims to be a trusted adviser on the strategic, regulatory and operational requirements for major corporate clients. We are active members of RenewableUK and currently sit on and advise the Offshore Strategy, the Consents and Licensing and the Cymru Strategy Groups.
