Our Work

  • defending a client in relation to a prosecution relating to an outbreak of legionella bacteria.  We succeeded in having charges reduced and successfully mitigating to ensure the matter was heard in the Magistrates' Court
  • advising on both plea and mitigation for one of the largest pub chains in the country following Environmental Agency prosecutions for breach of Discharge Consents
  • defending a national brand in relation to two charges of fly-tipping, ensuring that proceedings were not brought and thereby limiting exposure to prosecution
  • representing a national restaurant chain in relation to civil and criminal liability which could potentially have arisen out of contaminated food. Ensuring that no proceedings were brought and settling claims for civil liability.
