Our casualty practice has acted for insurers defending claims for 30 years.

What sets us apart is that we do not approach matters in which we are involved as compartmentalised legal problems or conundrums. Frequently our legal skills are called upon, but as often the solution will require our experience in innovation, our understanding of our clients' businesses and the pressures it faces and our ability to work in partnership with our clients help us deliver solutions which many view as market leading.

We also have a small dedicated team that has extensive experience in defending and pursuing travel and holiday claims. The team receives instructions from insurers to advise and represent over a full range of claims mostly brought under the Package Holiday and Travel Regulations including multiple food poisoning cases, coach and other transfer accidents, skiing accidents and accidents at hotels. The team has also recently advised an insurer in relation to a claim brought directly against the insurers in Hungary for a road accident in the UK. We subsequently advised Hungarian lawyers on aspects of English tort law.
