We deal with claims across the UK.  The team includes eight partners and over 50 fee earners specialising in the defence of professional indemnity claims and other commercial insurance disputes.  We are adept at working cross-office, assembling teams of appropriately experienced and qualified lawyers who deliver tangible costs savings for our clients.

Our practice is market leading covering the full spectrum of professional risks together with coverage investigations and advice.  We are particularly well known for our work defending lawyers, accountants and surveyors and regularly act in disputes involving insureds who are ranked at the top of their profession.  We also deal with claims brought against construction professionals, insurance intermediaries, investment and pensions professionals and IT consultants.

In addition, our specialist skills extend to D&O risks and claims involving large financial institutions where we can call on the expertise of our dedicated regulatory practice.

Our reputation is founded on our ability to resolve the most complex and challenging disputes.  We are entrusted with these matters because of the quality of the service we provide and our technical excellence, together with a track record of delivering results efficiently and cost effectively whilst at the same time adding real value to our clients’ businesses.

We build long term relationships with our insurer clients - at the heart of which is our commitment to understanding their commercial objectives, requirements and measures of success.  We also maintain the trust, loyalty and respect of their insureds since we recognise that enhancing client retention is an important part of the service we provide.
